A FULLY INCLUSIVE PADDLING FESTIVAL FOR PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES
 
The Bendrigg Paddlesports Festival is a fantastic opportunity to come away for a short break and enjoy lots of fun filled paddling activities with other likeminded people. You'll have plenty of opportunities to get on the water and there will be Tutors there every step of the way to help give you guidance to take your paddling skills to the next level.
 
There'll be lots of time to socialise and make new friends whilst in a friendly and safe environment at Bendrigg Trust.
 
When is it?
 Our 2026 festival is Friday the 5th to Monday the 8th of September
 
Who is it for?
 The festival is open to anyone who has:
 Never paddled before but wants to give it a go
 Done some paddling but want to experience different crafts or challenges
 
How much does it cost?
 The price per person is our bed and board cost which everyone will be asked to pay (including buddies or carers). The full programme of water activities will be provided free of charge thanks to sponsorship funding. Meals are included and provided throughout the duration of the course from our fantastic cooks and we will cater for any dietary requirements - please make us aware of these at your earliest convenience.
 
What will I be doing?
 The first day will be an arrivals and meeting people type day, the second day will be on the water in the morning trying out a range of crafts (rafted canoes, outrigger canoes, tandem or solo canoes, solo and double kayaks and SUPs). Then the afternoon choosing a craft to learn more about and skill up in through games and journeys. The third day will be an all day adventure on a suitable trip for the group. Please note if you need a seat the requires straps you will have to be in a rafted canoe to ensure your safety.
 
How Do I Book?
 Select the dates you'd like to book on the calendar, enter your details and pay your deposit. Once you've booked you will receive a confirmation email and one of our team will be in touch closer to the time of the course with all the details you'll need.

Full price £402 - why would I pay this? If you do not need a subsidised place please consider paying full price. This is at your discretion. Paying full price will allow more people, schools and charities experience the magic of Bendrigg.
