Sensory Support- Online workshop

Sensory Support- Online workshop discussing sensory inclusive environments

A 90-minute online workshop exploring sensory support and how it can be used to create more inclusive environments.

Join us for this 90-minute online workshop exploring sensory support, what it is, why it matters, and who it can support.

We’ll look at how sensory needs can impact how people experience environments and how making small, practical changes can make a big difference to someone’s ability to feel comfortable and included.

This session Led by Amy Green, Beyond Bendrigg’s Senior Trainer and Consultant, who has lived experience of ADHD and autism, this session will explore simple, practical ways to provide sensory support, including:

  • Creating break-out or quiet spaces using familiar or existing spaces differently
  • Introducing simple solutions like a sensory trolley
  • Understanding the role of sensory tools
  • Building confidence in offering sensory supports

Drawing on our experience of delivering inclusive sessions, we’ll share practical ideas that can be applied in a range of settings without needing large budgets or specialist equipment.

This workshop is designed to help you feel more confident in recognising sensory needs and putting supportive, inclusive practices in place.
