Makaton level 2 - Expand your skills for more confident and flexible everyday communication
Makaton Level 2 is a certificated course ran by our licensed trainer Kate and is the next step in your Makaton journey building upon skills learnt in Level 1.
Makaton Level 2 builds on the foundations of Level 1, helping you develop richer, more flexible communication with children or adults who have communication difficulties. Ideal for those already using Makaton, this certificated course increases confidence and fluency in everyday communication at home, work or in the community.
Through interactive learning and supported practice, you’ll extend your vocabulary by learning the signs and symbols from Stages 3 and 4, along with additional core vocabulary. The course refreshes previous learning while giving you the tools to communicate about a wider range of experiences, ideas and needs, helping conversations flow more naturally and meaningfully.

This course is suitable for anyone who has completed their Makaton level 1 and who is looking to progress their skills
