DofE Gold Residential

DofE Gold Residential

Bendrigg are a leading specialist outdoor centre for people with disabilities and from disadvantaged backgrounds with over 40 years of working with people of all abilities. We are ideally situated between the Yorkshire Dales and the stunning Lake District.

We are proud to offer you a unique opportunity to complete your Gold DofE Residential. Over the course of your 5 day (4 nights) residential, you will participate in a range of adventurous activities both on and off-site (evenings too!) including climbing, abseiling, caving in the Yorkshire Dales, canoeing, zip wire, bushcraft, biking and tube slide. You will have the opportunity to explore local lakes, hills & caves whilst also making new friends, enjoying evenings around the campfire and exploring our 15 acres of land. All activities are supported by qualified and experienced staff.

Accommodation for the residential will be in our accessible buildings which have aids such as ceiling mounted tracking hoists, shower beds, wet rooms and profile beds. Here is a link to our virtual tour: Bendrigg Trust (360imagery.co.uk)

The residential will start from 12 noon on arrival day and end late afternoon on departure day (around 3pm).

The price includes all food, accommodation and a full programme of activities. If the cost is a barrier to you booking, please contact Paula and Sarah to discuss the possibility of sponsorship.

For those travelling by train, we can pick you up and drop you off at Oxenholme Lake District Station (15 minute drive).

To book or for more info, please contact our bookings team on bookings@bendrigg.org.uk / 01539 723 766.
